Delicious Cuban food in a restaurant that has been in the hands the Capdevilla family for generations. Classic dishes like roasted pork with rice and beans, fried green and ripe plantains, flan, Cuban coffee, and so much more. Attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Solid Latin food cafe/diner style. Lots of counter seats available. Food was fabulous and the price was spot on. You WILL be full afterwards. Sunday special was Puerco Asado for $10.45 plus a drink. Also ordered a half carafe of sangria. A definite must do (unless you are driving then only a glass for you). We came in during shift change but our service didn't suffer. Food came out quickly.

I was in town visiting and my boyfriend took me to this restaurant as it's one of his favorites! It's super old school but plenty of space inside and parking outside. We sat down in the diner area in the back at the hightop (I loved the zigzag countertop!). The menu is pretty extensive, but we each got a batido (smoothie) and some plantain chips to share. I got the guava batido and it was SO GOOD!! My boyfriend got the mango batido which was also so smooth and creamy. The plantain chips had a good crunch to them and I really like the garlic sauce it came with (this was super different for me!). For dinner, I got the special of ropa vieja which came with beans and rice. The ropa vieja was so delicious, with great tomato flavor and tender meat. My beans and rice were also delicious. The portions were generous so I had plenty of leftovers which reheated great. Overall, really great spot and super affordable. Highly recommend!!

Awesome, spacious, authentic kitchen cuban restaurant. Highly recommended by the local cuban population I ran into. The staff was extremely friendly, informative, knowledgeable and helpful. The menu is extensive with a variety of daily specials. There is a children's menu, extensive dessert menu, aka cart menu, side dish menu and drink menu. Fresh warm buttered cuban bread was instantly delivered. I opted for the daily fresh stuffed fish special and hit a home run. The light white fish was lightly battered, stuffed with shrimp and other deliciousness. The white gravy was heavenly, the entire combination perfectly balanced and tasty. As was the interesting vegetable assortment which was also tasty. The mango fruit shake was perfect. The restaurant is very affordable. The Cuban coffee was perfect.

As inflation continues to inflate, the number of sit-down spots where you can fill your stomach and tip your waitress for $20 or less continues to dwindle. At La Teresita, you can get bomb home cooking--even MEAT entrées-- and have a full belly without a super empty wallet. I highly recommend the yuca. They have both fried and boiled/stewed yuca, and you should have the latter be one of your two sides if you get an entreé. They also give you Cuban bread. It's getting harder to find restaurants who give complimentary bread, much less bread that is as fresh and well buttered as what this spot will give you :) There's also a lil bakery attached to the restaurant, so get some pastries after your meal, too :)
